Dan DeGon

Dan DeGon has been a developer in multiple states and strives to build long lasting relationships with clients. Dan's philosophy is to bring his knowledge, relationships, and network to simply connect buyers and sellers to maximize their potential profits. Dan’s previous portfolio was centered around commercial real estate (CRE) that originated in railroad-industrial development for storage facilities and transload locations. He continues to project manage and serve his clients across multiple CRE facets that include, but not limited to: general construction, rehabilitation projects, along with ground up development from entitlements to permitting. Dan DeGon joined the Perk Prop CRE team in 2020 and has his focus centered on bare land development for Multi Family, Build-for-Rent, Industrial, Self-Storage and Mobile Home Parks.

Matt DeGon

From childhood, Matt DeGon’s love for land was earned through the labor of love on his family’s farm – (DeGon Family Farms). At age 14, Matt and his older brother’s entrepreneurial spirit and hard work led to a hay baling business – (DeGon Bros Haying). Now dealing with land and its agriculture development, another entrepreneurial opportunity rooted new business ventures and investments in real estate. Matt also has a bachelor’s degree in applied science in Agricultural Systems from Walla Walla Community College and now uses his education for commercial developments. With the combined experiences and building reliable and retainable relationships and Matt’s drive to innovate and develop commercial real estate has brought his talents to Perk Prop. Matt feels at home (even though out of state) and continues to strengthen his skills in multiple markets. Matt resides in Washington with his family, where he is a commercial real estate broker with Perk Prop. His personal interests involve working out, spending time with family, dirt biking and fun fact, he is an avid snowmobiler.

Vanessa Bird

Vanessa Bird is the pulse of Perk Prop. Coming from a strong line of employers; her employment background and work ethic with Boeing, The CIT Group Equipment Financing to Intel Corp, brought new expansion to the agency. Vanessa exudes passion, knowledge and diversity both professionally and personally. She has worked hand in hand with Danny Perkinson and team to build the foundation Perk Prop operates in, on and around today. Vanessa continues to oversee day to day details as Director of Operations and strives to meet top quality excellence in everything she does. If you know Vanessa, there is no challenge too large for her to take on and successfully execute. Her attention to detail and top-level support allows for Perk Prop to operate successfully day in and day out. Her support in ownership, leadership and management continues to encourage the team to be at its best always! Personally, Vanessa enjoys traveling regularly with her husband and children, a Disneyland fanatic and is actively supporting local animal shelters.

Chantel Gutierrez

Chantel Gutierrez has been recognized as one of Arizona’s 40 under 40 the last 2 years and recognized as top 1% of real estate agents here in Arizona for 2021, top 3% for 2020, and top 6% for 2019. Chantel comes with a bachelor’s degree from BYU in Applied Business and 12 years in the banking sector. She worked for institutions like Mid-First Bank and National Bank as Operations Supervisor to VP of Treasury Management obtaining experience and knowledge in professional management. With these skill sets, Chantel transitioned and became a part of the Perk Prop family three years ago and continues to develop firm relationships with extraordinary client retention and loyalty. Chantel is the active VP of Commercial and Residential Real Estate managing compliance, policy and regulation, drafting of contracts to fulfilling a range of marketing functions and promotions for buyers and sellers… there isn’t an industry role Chantel isn’t an expert at. Johnathan has an innovative outlook on business and loves working with people that have a similar interest. Valerie Randal has been an agent since 1993. She has worked with the top agents in the Valley, one being her husband of 25 years, Charlie Randall. Partners in the business they created a Luxury Home Sales team that afforded them for years the top agent award in Arizona. Valerie has been in the top 1% of the Realtors for 27 years. An Agent that has been through all types of markets. They bought and remodeled homes in the 1990’s and flipped them to helping investors find their own investments in the 2000”s. They were successful in the short sale days and helped many out of tough situations. Through COVID selling many homes and having a very successful few years even when others were losing business. Kenya also holds a large spot in her heart with families there she supports. Africa is a favorite travel spot.

Juleen Nielsen is an extremely driven, outgoing and multifaceted member of the team. She is not one for accolades but deserves the recognition for her awesomeness. Juleen has only been on the team for 2 years, but her knowledge, attentive, prompt and eager to help work ethic has been instrumental as she is the one who makes sure the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed.
