Over the last decade, Perk Prop has evolved from a small family brokerage, with Founder Danny Perkinson, to a top performing SFR brokerage nationwide.
In 2012 Perk Prop Real Estate was engaged by Invitation Homes and sourced approximately 1,000 homes of their first acquisitions in the Phoenix market as an outside brokerage.
Perk Prop found its niche with a true passion for the SFR space, later in 2016 Perk Prop was hired by Colony Starwood homes to be their affiliate broker in the Phoenix Metro and sourced approximately 500 homes before their merger in 2017. AS part of those acquisitions, Perk Prop was part of one of the first Build to Rent acquisitions by Colony. Later in 2018-2019 Perk Prop was a part of a new acquisition strategy to rebuild Houston, Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
2019 Perk Prop engaged with Progress Residential in the Phoenix Metro market to be their acquisitions partner. Due to the track record of success with previous funds, over the last 2 years, Perk Prop was able to grow into multiple markets across the United States working with other startup funds such as BLVD Residential. In addition to single asset acquisitions, Perk Prop has been involved in Build to Rent transactions with key players in the space like First Key Homes. Due to Danny being a 4th generation real estate family coupled with a background in construction and development, he has been able to successfully build good relationships with developers and builders throughout the country.
